Make A Checklist – Take time to sit and write out a thorough check list of everything you need to get done before moving day arrives. This will not only help you keep on top of what needs doing, you can organise your time to get the tasks ticked off and it ensures you don’t forget anything which also helps take some of the stress out of moving home. Your checklist should include everything to do with the move, dates and times, tasks and people that need informing of your house move such as insurance and utilities.
Get Help – No matter how organised or handy you are it is always easier if you have a little help. Ask friends or family to pitch in where they can help with packing or transporting some stuff from your old house to the new one for you, every little helps!
